If you have arleady decided that you will be filing a case you will ALSO need to have the following:
- Certificate from an approved financial management course. You can go to http://www.credability.org to complete this counseling online. Please use our firm code of 2709 so that the certificate is sent straight to our office.
- Proof of income for the 60 days (Chapter 13)/ 90 days (Chapter 7) prior to filing the bankruptcy IF you receive pay checks.
- Tax return for the last year filed (Federal Only).
- Proof of your social security number. (social security card or W-2).
- Proof of photo ID (e.g. drivers license, military ID, passport).

We understand that most of our client's have busy schedules and therefore can arrange a phone consultation or web consultation if you are unable to meet with an attorney in person to get a basic overview of your potential case. WHEN WILL MY CASE BE FILED ?
We utilize state of the art technology which allows us file all our cases and supporting documents electronically 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Once you have met with an attorney, reviewed and signed your completed paperwork and paid your initial fees, your case will be filed electronically and mailed to you the same day.
